  • Public I was so pumped to discover the iPwnce program for the iPhone! It took me 20 minutes just to figure out how to make installer.app recognize it ... Then I logged in and ... Nothing. Just a blank screen.

  • Public Can anyone reproduce this iPhone bug?

    1) Open Safari.
    2) Load a page; doesn't matter what.
    3) Let the iPhone be for a minute or two so it goes to sleep.
    4) Pick it up so it's in horizontal rotation.
    5) Push the button to turn it back on and slide the slide.

  • Public Things that amaze the hell out of me, number 1: That iWon still exists.

    Who still uses iWon these days? Jersey soccer moms? People that never got around to upgrading from Netscape 4? How do they even find out that iWon exists? I haven't seen an ad for them (banner ad or otherwise) since 1999 or so.

  • Public Last change to get a good iTunes backup / sync program and snag a year of Dreamhost out of it as well. OS X only. (It's so nice to be able to say "Hah, OS X only!" after all those years where so many developers were slavishly beholden to Windows.)
