My biggest stress right now, what kind of takeout food to get... I'm kind of hungry. :o
Are you gonna be famous and on TV? :)
-
I wouldn't have stopped. We all know the level of stress we are under. Don't need a machine to let us know lol. Last time I stopped for one of those kiosk people I spent $100 on skin care from the dead sea...have yet to use any of it!

I think my biggest stress is people in general. People just don't think anymore... they are like zombies performing their daily routines over and over... there is no desire to better themselves or grow.
If I had a dime for every stupid thing I had to deal with daily, I'd have a shitload of dimes. :)

WARNING WARNING WARNING
Chances are that the "Stress Test" dude was really a Church of Scientology creep. It's a trap!
-
It was prob a Scientology scam. That's one of their covers at malls and such to snag the weak minded.
-
LOL @Tad. "Scientology can reduce stress, lower your cholesterol, and show you what to do with those darn holiday leftovers."
-
I came in to give the same warning as Tad. I see them tricking people at the fair every year.
-
I never stop for anyone at the mall who's trying to get my attention.
One even had the audacity to grab me by the arm once. Sure as hell he won't do that again if he ever sees me walk by again.
-
I would've asked: 'Are you a Scientologist?'
haha
-
You should have got real aggressive and started dropping F-bombs and seen the guys reaction before saying you'd break it. His look would have been classic I'm sure.
-
@Ann - great answer.
My stresses are probably work, money, and living location in general... pretty much in that order.
I did one of those marketing surveys once when I was in college and needed some cash. It was a pretty poor match though... why would you show a college student a video about vacations and time shares? Unless you were just trying to hit some quota.
-
I would have tried to break the machine, then having broken it i would have worn it as a badge of honor ;)
-
He sounded like a scientologist. They have a strange way of evangelising. Then it's all aliens and ships that look like DC9's :P
My biggest stress - looking to buy a home over the next few months, that's a huge source of stress.
-
My biggest stress? Lindsay being away in Seattle for weeks and only at home on the weekends. That's sucked!

I don't want to take random stress tests, get massages in the middle of a mall, sample perfumes, play with your mini-RC Helicopters, buy a hermit crab, bounce a super-gigantic ball back to you, know about your cell phone plans, buy an oinking pig toy refuge from the 70's, or ... join your cult!
Those mini-booths in the mall stress me out... :)
My biggest stress at the moment, though (to answer your question), is having spread myself too thin lately to get anything properly done. I may have to drop some personal projects I've taken on before even more of my hair falls out. :)
-
WoW!! Goes to show how out of the loop I've been. Totally had no clue that Scientology had come to the malls of America...sounds like it's start to spread out quite a bit.
I don't ever stop for any of those kiosk stuff...when I go to the mall which is once every blue moon I'm in and out. The mall stresses me.
@Steven G - ahh, wouldn't mind having that be the only stress in my life. And working on making my way to fame and glory!!
@Heather - it can't work for you if you don't use it ;)
@Dan - Shift your mindset - the more you think people don't think anymore the more that's only what you'll see. We create our realities...if you want to encounter peopel who think for themselves you have to stop looking at those who don't.
@Robert if anyone grabbed me they would regret the day they were born...
@AF - that would have been rather interesting but Mall Security kicking me out of the mall and me not getting my shirt wouldn't have helped my stress level.
@Keith - Our stress are partners.
@Sean - I'm not liking being stressed. I mostly live in denial to ease most of the stress.
@Mike - looking for a home to buy? The market is ripe for the picking what's stressing you about it?
@Tad - It's almost over.
@Michael - It's best to say No or I'll work on it later then be stressed for not doing the job or not doing the job right. Best to handle that right away and feel better. The people will appreciate knowing instead of being stress to pressure you with "when will it be done" questions.
-
Good retort. BTW, a courtesy reply will do for my last privmsg. ;)
-
i would not mind de stressing right now - everything is folding under teh pressure right now - except the clothes - i think i should fold them sometime,, and maybe under all the stress i am in, i would not need to iron them creases out!!!
