    I'll tell you the truth. I'm rather fed up with testing software that isn't ready to be rolled out. Even pownce still has the most egregious bugs, in spite of the nine months since private beta.

    but you are right on pownce, but what did you expected when it is managed by one person and the whole thing is built in django?

    In all fairness, I don't think django is to blame for the bugs. But yes, "oh, poor Leah" seems to be the standard response to any complaints about pownce. I can think of a lot of people who work an awful lot harder than Leah - flickr has the evidence!

    Sorry to complain on your thread, let me know if it's a problem, and I'll delete these posts. Sometimes honest opinion gets the better of me.

    @Phillip Wesche:

    django has scale problems. i never said it was a bad platform, it is just that pownce is getting crowder and having a more complete API means the platform having more stress. why do you think there is not a RSS gateway or a mobile gateway yet?.

    it would be worse if she was alone and this joint had been done in rails, then we would have a twitter like disaster everyday.

    and you can say anything you want, curse ,argue, and everything. everything goes.
