Public Huh!? Fox News ... wants you to *at least* try, if not switch to Linux?
Torn beyond belief...!
Yes, it's technically by PCMag, but it's on http://FoxNews.com and is even on the homepage (see Technology)!Sep 21st 1 Reply Forward

Public Damn you, Apple! Can't use Linux, or for that matter, any other program with an iPod besides iTunes now.
It's really infuriating to me, a Linux user. I'm never going to buy another iPod again because of this. I love Songbird, the open source alternative to iTunes. No new iPods will be compatible.
I'll go out and buy a Creative Zen or something when I need ...

Public The end of an era... albeit a kinda short one. Leo Laporte's The Tech Guy won't be streamed by Leo via uStream and Stickam anymore... that takes all the fun out of being in the chat-room!
And apparently, Shooby's fired? What's up with that? What's happening to Leo's empire!? Is it slowly crumbling? ...Probably not.Sep 8th 3 Replies Forward

Public Going to the Poconos (mountains a short distance away) until Friday.
Shame that I'm missing that Apple event and Google's multitude of rumored announcements (gPhone thing, Google Docs & Spreadsheets & Presentations & Wikis, etc.)... Ah well. I'm sure it won't take me too long to catch up on Friday :p
Talk to you guys then.5.0 starsSep 4th 4 Replies Forward

Also, I'd bet my bottom dollar that this is one of those "20% of ...

Public I still don't understand why Digg didn't just wait until they had the Image section ready before going live with the new version.
I'm happy with it and all, but they really could have waited until they were ready with the Image section. That new header and integration of videos+news are nice, but the users weren't exactly clamoring for that... well, moreso the video integration ...

Public Just wanted to let you guys know that we're beginning to churn out tutorials and such on AIRDev. Here's one I just did now on Creating Your First Flex App using AIR. (oh, and don't worry, OS X users, the interface is almost identical)
I promise I won't clutter your Pownceboxes (Pownce+inboxes) with this Bacn ever again...5.0 starsAug 23rd 2 Replies Forward
