Nope. Nevermind. Thought maybe through some Feedburner-Fu, coupled with the ability to upload 100 meg files to the public, that Pownce may have become a swank new podcasting platform. No dice though; even though I have Feedburner automagically creating enclosures for audio files, it won't see the mp3 I attached to this post for distribution through podcatchers like iTunes.
Being able to use Pownce as a podcasting CMS has been a dream of mine since I first laid eyes on how it all works. And the bug has gotten even worse since the site has grown and changed into some kind of neat micro blog/forum/file share site.
Oh well. Daniel? Leah? How bout next time? ;-)

I think that the problem is that you can't download files (only listen to them), unless you're registered with Pownce. I guess that iTunes and such are trying to download the MP3 file to serve it from their servers, but they can't...

Good point on the registered.
iTunes doesn't serve from their own servers though, it comes from the original source. I've got a few other ways to do this I might try, but I just wanted to see if that first idea worked.

Anyway, it will be kinda annoying for people if they will have to register to Pownce when they will try to download the MP3. (allthough I hardly believe there're still people who don't have a Pownce account (-;).
