I have 1511 pownce friends. I don't know how i got so many, but i do know i only see about ~100 post on a regular basis.

    I have over 2k that appear in my feed (although only about half are mutual) and probably only 300 of them actually post. I really want Pownce and Twitter to implement the ability to show whether users are "inactive" after a certain amount of time. It used to be a feature that I wasn't interested in, but it is increasingly more important to me now.

    I've had 1500+ friends since like, two weeks after i joined. I accepted them all, i think it was a mistake

    Pownce got an initial bownce when it first started. It has grown, but not as fast as Twitter, at least to my eyes.

    Yep, everyone wants to be in the newest or coolest "social site" at the moment, hence the drop off of people on Pownce.

    Pownce is still a great source of music I've never heard of and sparks my interest in hearing more.

    I don't know how I would keep up with so many. I have a few over 200 and have trouble keeping up with them.

    That's probablt because a lot of people e.g. me are not active on Pownce. I use twitter way more than I do Pownce

    I only have 79. But they are all hand picked because I liked their content. So my pownce page should be full of stuff I'm interested in.
