Wonderful!! All meetings were pushed back to tomorrow, so an easy day today traded for utter hell tomorrow :S

If my clients didn't pay so well, I'll have to smack some of them...

What kind of work do you do?

I be a Web Developer. I live WAAAAAAAYY! up in the mountains of Calaveras County, Ca. (jumping frog, Mark Twain.....yeah, THAT Calaveras County) with clients all over the world.

Generally I do high end site design/development for corporations that include rather large database backends. PHP driven mostly, but I can do ASP and Oracle (BLUCK!) if needed.

I am also a freelance (read: amateur) photographer.

    And you...?

I'm a software developer going on 12 years now. Currently I'm slowly working my way into doing more web development, but I'm by no means a designer. The majority of my experience is back-end and database programming, but I've been doing Ruby on Rails lately.

If I can ever find a job that pays as much to do RoR as I make doing c# plumbing work, I'll be happy :D

My clients pay because they all have very unique needs, and as such most of my work is done under NDAs, which I always charge more for.

I do full site dev from front to back, I am like a one stop shop...

I also am an occasional Technical Editor for Focal Press. Yes, I wear a lot of hats...

Hell, on the weekends I am a full time Rockstar!
