I don't have any reason *not* to jailbreak mine. Amanda why cripple yourself?

Truth be told my favorite app is the themes, I don't see that happening anytime soon from the Apple camp. Wait I lied, iFlickr sending my photos right to flickr from wherever I am? Gold.

I'm kind of on the fence on this one. I'm an open source nerd but I like to temper that philosophy with pragmatism. If apple doesn't want to allow full access to some system features, either for stabilities reasons or for business reasons, that's their prerogative. It would be nice if they were more transparent about things or otherwise really let developers go but this is a new(ish) space, developers are going to be coming up with all kinds of wacky applications, and I think they need to tread lightly.

I dont care that the SDK is crippled. It is better than nothing and every single iPhone user will have access to the apps that developers create.

Plus, Applecare will support your phone under the SDK. not if it is jailbroken.

@JP, that's like Sony saying they won't allow any pron to be played on the TVs that they make.

Even if jailbreaking voids warranty, just restore, and Apple won't have a clue in the slightest.

Also I see that the TV thing is kind of exactly what apple is doing, and is equally as controllable.
