If you still value you my opinion Alex (after Superbad) I'd go see it, it did kinda feel like a setup to a sequel but it was a pretty damn fine setup if you ask me.

The books are SO MUCH better... The first 2 books are awesome, the third ties the world, in the book, into the movie... it was good but...
The movie was ok, if I hadn't read the 3rd book I would have been lost on some points.
I own the books, but I won't buy the movie...

I'm from Ann Arbor, the main character's home town in the movie, and honestly, the shots of town were the only thing keeping me interested as the fx wasn't that great, acting worse than bad, and plot, well, come on really...
