    To be more precise, I typed in the username of "Gulopine" and received the error: "Only letters and numbers are allowed, and no spaces." I certainly thought I met those requirements. I tried three times before I finally gave up and tried "gulopine" instead, which worked just fine.

    To be fair, their regular user registration page shows the correct lowercase requirement, but apparently not when I registered using OpenID.
