The Lord of the Rings trilogy and The Back to the Future trilogy, are my favorite movie trilogy's of all time.

I have none.
I don't like franchises for movies. Most of the time the first one is all that is needed. Good examples:
Star Wars
Highlander
I never got into Star Trek. Indiana Jones was ok for the first one. I never liked Back to The Future and the only LOTR movie I liked was Bakshi's.
I went to see the first of Jackson's and I promised a friend who worried that I would blurt out nasty things against it no to do so.
The landscapes were great, the characters and sequences were horrible. But when they got to Moria and Gandalf said you have to follow your nose, my friend lost it and said what is he Toucan Sam?
And then I breathed a sigh of relief and we left. Thank God. If I had to take anymore of it I would have had a stroke. One of the worst films I ever saw. So bad I didn't bother with the other two.
