If you're planning to come to Japan or travel inside Japan, you can forget about it this weekend. One of the most strongest typhoons in Japanese history is about to hit these islands. It's really calm right now here but the Ryukyu islands are being pummeled with heavy rains and winds at this moment. Tomorrow is going to be a tough day when it finally reaches here as the path is going right over where I live, hopefully it will take a more southeasterly path. It's predicted it will pour at least 40 inches of rain in one day, pretty much flood warning range. Many flights have been canceled and expect the trains and public transport to completely stop too.

I will keep posting updates.
