My 60 gig video iPod was dropped over this past summer and the screen is now effectively shattered. It still plays music though, so it's not completely useless. I am thinking of making it into a glorified 60 gig flash drive.

Oh and -- I bought myself an iPod touch instead. Excellent investment. People complain about the space (8gigs is not a lot, I know) but seriously, are you *really* going to listen to 8 gigs worth of music within one sitting anyway?

I am with Julie on this one. I grabbed a touch and love it! I got the 16GB version (because I am lazy about changing music). Just grab a new one.

I have a great condition 60GB 5th Gen I am thinking about putting on ebay if your interested?
