It is stupid how people are buying NIN's new album due to make a statement of how music should be distributed. That is the exact reason why you shouldn't buy music. You buy music to support the artist, not to make a statement. If you like NIN, fine, go ahead and purcahse it. But don't buy it because you like the way they distribute the music, wait for it catch on to bands that you actually like before you buy. Much respect to Trent Reznor, but I also can't help but think that this all may be a publicity stunt just to sell some more CDs, and to get people to buy just because the idea of digital distribution is great.
