Pownce has been spotty.
Many have turned to a new thing called plurk.
I have been working as usual so nothing changed there.

I use plurk a little but won't be moving from pownce yet, I think it will only get better :D

How do you take a month break from the internets? :S

If you're on pownce you don't need plurk (ugly, hard to use) or twitter (down all the time), it will only come down to where most of your friends are. SocialThing is unnecessary. The biggest news in social circles was the trouncing of Rev3 with a DDOS attack from Media Defender. Other than that check out the new Adobe online photo and document sharing tools... cool stuff!

Steven - you turn your laptop off and walk away. After about 3 days of withdrawl you feel ok again. It wasn't a totally intentional break but I am glad I took it. i actually spoke with real people while looking them in the eye. I did miss scrabulous though. . . and my pownce friends.
