Rebate question:

If you're going to spend any of the rebate, what are you going to spend it on?

The conventional wisdom seems to be that everyone is going to take their rebate from Uncle Sam which starts paying out next month and they're going to either save it or spend it to pay off bills.

Some people think that means the rebates are moot, but I disagree. If people are paying off bills, they're only going to put themselves back into the same debt they had before they paid off their bills. Which means people will start buying again. I guess we'll all see what happens. I'm interested in your thoughts too.

I'm fixing to buy some memory for my laptop and maybe upgrade to a pro account on Flickr. The rest is going into the Buy a House fund.
