Public For anyone trying to get their PS3 working with a 2Wire router from AT&T I solved the problem. I saw many forum posts around over the weekend and no one had an answer, not even AT&T or Sony according to a guy that was on the phone with both of them for hours.
Anyway, go into your wireless settings and change WEP-Shared to WEP-Open. Save.

Public Just bought a PS3....It won't work via wireless with my crap 2Wire router. Anyone have any experience with this? Everytime I"ve gotten a new wireless anything it always takes tons of research and 20 hours before I can get it working. I'm sick of this stupid thing

Public Thinking about getting a PS3 this week.
If you are wondering why I'm leaning toward the PS3 over the 360 the reasons are as follows:
Free online play...I'm just hoping the community gets better like Live
Fewer Hardware issues. Haven't really heard of any with the PS3
More exclusive titles I'm interested in
I can install Linux on it....weeeeeeeeee.....haha.
