I've noticed an odd attempt at marketing at McDonald's. It may have been around for a while, but I just caught on to it today. In the fluorescent lighting, one of the covers is a simulated giant apple pie box crashing through the plastic.
What kind of situation would cause an apple pie box to crash through a fluorescent light bezel? Was it thrown at the light? Does McDonald's want us to think that maybe they store the pies in the light fixtures?
How would food breaking through a light fixture ever be a good thing?
If you ever go inside a McDonald's, have a look out for this thing.
