Downloading Xcode right now. I didn't realize you could develop Dashboard widgets with it. I'm used to M$'s model of charging for a full-featured IDE so the thought never entered my mind.

All of Xcode is free, including all the iPhone development stuff. And I like it a lot more than visual studio. It doesn't suffer from quite as much feature creap.

i really need to update to leopard.... the iphone stuff looks fun!

... but i willhave to give up my MBP for a WEEK to replace the optical drive... i dunno if i can do that!! ... wow... thats kinda sad... :(

Its pretty amazing for a free toolkit.... but like I said, I'm crippled by the fact that I'm not much of a coder ...though it has been fun trying to learn.

I will absolutely take you guys up on the offer to help, let me get organized about it.
