this i like, Steve. btw, i'm a fan of the show.

you should get down and dirty with the unix underpinnings of OS X. for instance..."unhiding" the command line airport utility and using it to manage your wireless connections (read: creating an alias that is in your path to the actual utility)...or using diskutil...or using mdutil to re-index spotlight....

Good idea. I did do a three part UNIX exploration last year. I may have to revisit or expand on that topic...

It's cool. I'm a UNIX and Linux admin (with a computer science background)...but I love to listen to the show even if you're discussing something that I already know ;-)

Can't wait to listen to the latest TMA episode (and those older UNIX eps). Will probably listen tonight.
