Public My new toys, the Sony MDR-EX90 ear buds, just came in. While I certainly wouldn't spend the $100 MSRP on these things, they're definitely worth the $25 I paid on eBay.
If you're a fan of Sony's previous in-ear buds, you'd probably like these. Personally, I find them a great upgrade from the EX80 wrap-around buds.Jan 28th Reply! Forward

Public I was considering getting a new phone at the end of this year, but with this slow build of gPhone hype I think I'm going to wait and see what Google has planned. Too bad we still are completely in the dark on this whole project. Even with such goals as a free software platform and open application devolopment, it's still hard to imagine what form this whole ...

Public Hello Red Ring of Death, we meet again! My system 360 was crashing these past few days and I was actually sort of praying for the RROD to appear. Well here we are. I'm surprisngly glad to see the RROD this time because now I can get it fixed before Mass Effect ships :P

Public It's great seeing Ebert back in action. Even better when he's reviewing movies he missed while in recovery and making observations practically synonymous to my own. Public Praise like this for the Coen brother's new film "No Country for Old Men" is getting me all hot and bothered: "You simply have to see it, and experience it like everyone else that's seen it. You can't be told about it, and comprehend it. The character goes beyond describability, and Bardem somehow makes this nightmare of a human being seem one-hundred percent real. I doubt you ...

Public A cool article on using the Democracy/Miro video player with television torrents. Basically you can get a feed of your torrents and it will autodownload the files and also let you play them right within the program. This isn't anything new, but I know a few of you out there may not be aware of this. Also, it's surprising that this is coming from CNET!

Public I just spent a week with my new HD-DVD player and I'm hopelessly in love. I can only hope that my bank account can handle this new obsession. I've restrained myself from buying many DVDs these past few months because I figured I would be jumping to some sort of HD format soon, so this is just a sort of delayed gratification ;) Full thoughts in the link--
