Let's hope he comes to understand he need not wear it for anything but play.
People teach your children that wearing a uniform and carrying a gun is neither cool nor smart.

Cursor, while I respect your opinion and your right to say it in any topic appropriate pulic thread, like this one. I must disagree.
As long as we have a need to defend ourselves, I ill support those who choose to put on the uniform and carry the gun.
Its the crazies without the unirform, without the training and without the sense of responsability that you have to worry about.
And... FYI the kid is carrying a cerimonial sword. :D

I understand he is right now carring a sabre.
Later he may get the strange idea to wear fatigues and carry a M16A2 instead.
Unless that boy makes that choice AFTER he is 24 and will become a career soldier, a professional, he will make a bad choice for joining the military.
If you MUST have a military, the backbone MUST be of professionals, not reservists or the pressed.

Thanks Dan. I like that different photos can mean different things to different people. Don't get me wrong, evern though I disagree with Cursor's opinion I love that a photo of mine evoked an emotional or political response.
