I did it! I'm weak! I turned on the AC! Thought I could make it to July 1st, but trying to sleep the last couple of nights has been a miserable exercise is sweaty futility... my bedroom was up to 87 degrees, and even with a fan blowing I I couldn't feel comfortable. It's about 84 outside at 11 a.m. I know that's nothing to you who live in the south, but this ol' dog can't take the heat once the humidity starts climbing!

I'd give anything (well, not really) for a corner apartment with a cross-breeze. At least then I can take advantage of the nighttime cooling a little bit. I'm a heat wuss! Boxers only for the duration!

    You did well consdidering I gave up about 2 weeks ago.

    Then again the heat index in Va during the day is around 119...

    I'm still holding out but so far it has been bearable. I think it helps that I have huge windows in my Apt and plenty of air flowing through

    Mine has been on for a few weeks now. Not very low though, just enough to sleep.
