Speaking of indie sci-fi films... does anyone remember Hardware? I recall that:

1. It had a stonking soundtrack (including Ministry's Stigmata).
2. The film-makers settled out of court for (perhaps inadvertently) ripping off the plot from a short story in the British sci-fi comic 2000AD.

    That movie, and the scene with Ministry's "Stigmata" caused a seismic shift in my life. All of a sudden I'm yanking the GnR outta the tape player and we're hauling ass around town to 'In case you didn't feel like showing up...'

    I can't believe I'd forgotten about the movie. I need to see if I can find it on DVD.

    Oh man, In Case You Didn't Feel Like Showing Up is still one of the best live albums ever, IMHO.
