I'm thinking of a way to make a case for a Mac on my desk at the office as well with the same issues as this guy. Luckily, I have my boss on my side, but it's IT & Sr.Management I need to convince. Got suggestions?

You can run both OSX and Windows (BootCamp or Parralels). Depending on your work, you can test your applications, website, etc on a wider range of hardware/browsers...otherwise, not much arguments, except if you're in design where Mac is the os of choice (color management, etc)

Not to mention OSX is built on a linux kernel (BSD if I remember right)

Which is very stable. Mac OSX also has better sofware included out of the the box than Windows, No viruses plus it looks really pretty. Hell on pretty alone you should be able to get one =P

Maybe just tell them you have an Iphone and want smart phone integration with your work enviorment.
Let us know how it works out and good luck.

@ryan I haven't got an iPhone yet. That'sPhase II of my evil plan. :)
