In an email I just sent out: "I think it's pointless and unnecessary. Besides, people should lay off on email. Email = letters. IM = conversations. I think all companies, no matter security levels, should be using IM first, email second. But no one listens to me." (I put IM together with Pownce, but you get the idea.)

    Naw, it isn't going to happen in my office. Unfortunately, the company is ideal IMO to go this way in order to create an easier dialogue.But unfortuantely the higher-ups are just not tech saavy enough to know how to leverage it. I'm working on it though!! :)

    I'm lucky we use gtalk first then emails. works great when working with remote workers
