I dabbed toothpaste on my brush and ran it under the flowing water. Watching myself in the mirror, I brushed and tried to remember the techniques my dentist had demonstrated. Then suddenly, as I was standing there scrubbing away and looking at myself in the mirror, it happened. I sneezed. A really big sneeze. I don’t think I have ever sneezed while brushing my teeth before in my life. I’m sure I would have remembered something like that. When you sneeze, your eyes close. After this sneeze, I reopened my eyes slowly, already laughing, knowing what I would see. There was toothpaste everywhere. Everywhere. It took me twenty minutes to clean the bathroom after I finished brushing my teeth.
