Public The Google Android Platform looks awesome. It's open-source, it looks nice, built in google-services (that means gmail/ maps, and I am hoping for Docs), and a bunch of other cool things. I can't wait to see what developers and users will be able to do with it. I mean it's open-source, so just about anything can be done. Emulators for games? No problem! Doc/Excel/PowerPoint Editor ...

Public So, about 10.6 or "Snow Leopard".
As a lot of people have already guessed, snow leopard does not look like a OS revision with a lot of end-user features. In fact, it looks like it has none. What it does have on the other had, is a LOT of enhancements under the hood. There cutting out the fat (Power-PC) leaving only intel x86 code. Built in Exchange support. A ...

Public So, iPhone App Store.
Good News! - I see a lot of cool apps coming down the pipe.
OmniFocus
Things
Twitterific
Many Chat Clients
A Facebook App

Bad News! - Is there really any? It seems the AppStore's prices will be ok. Nothing that screams expensive. I do want to play super monkey ball, BADLY.Jun 11th Reply! Forward

Public Seriously, I have an idea. A internet-based system of law-enforcement in the real world. Like this example. What the cops can't do, the internet's millions upon billions of users can. There are good people out in this world, and they too, can be on the look out for stolen goods or other theft. It's not right to steal, and the people that do should be punished. My ...

Public So, I am big fan of Pixar. But to tell you the truth, there is way too many sequels in there for my liking. It seems they also caught the 3-D bug that if flying around in hollywood lately. Toy story 2 and 3 will be made in 3-D. And ew! Cars 2? Of all your great titles Pixar, you have to pick one of your weakest to make a ...

Public I am actually quite glad apple won't allow third-party apps to run in the background. I have seen the mess that is windows mobile. You install a couple apps, suddenly all of them are fighting for resources. On the iPhone, only 1 app is open at a time, and once you close one, it's closed. Everything is saved and it's closed. Opening up resources for the next ...

Public Holycrap. I just beat SSE in Super Smash Bros. Brawl, and to tell you the truth, who the hell is a Tabuu? Seriously, I expected some kind of epic fight between the baddies of brawl and the good guys. (Kind of sort of got that when the halbred was shot down by the ship Ganandorf was flying) still pretty epic, but why with the character we know nothing about? Eh ...

Public So I bought Super Smash Brothers Brawl. Let me first say that the game is great. If you own a Wii, you should have it. But I have a couple problems...
1) Why do Fox, Falco, and Wolf all have the same Final Smash(FS)? Why Do Lucas and Ness have the same FS? Smells like laziness to me. In-fact, their are many points in brawl where you just feel ...

Public Ok, what the hell is up with people getting their briefs in a bunch over apple offering Safari over Software Update on Windows? Who gives a shit?
Seriously.
Maybe I am being silly. It's not like Microsoft, Adobe, or any other company doesn't try to force the rest of their software down your throat. And you have to be kidding me, the whole thing is people are pissed ...

Public I am worried, because people like Obama.
It is easy to get swept up into "Obamania" or the Obama Cult. I must admit to it myself. He has such beautiful, poetic, spiritual and uplifting words that are carried along by a strong voice, reminiscent of MLK. It's easy to get drunk off the amount of optimism he secretes from every thread of his being.
Yet, I am worried. The ...

Public Mark my words, Solid-State Drives are the way of the future.
Yeah, I get what Gardiner is saying, SSDs are expensive, and are low in capacity in comparison to HDDs. But that doesn't mean things won't change quickly. Flash memory is getting cheaper and cheaper and coming in higher capacities, there is no reason to believe that SSDs wont do the same. SSDs are lightning fast, and save ...

Public Pertaining to the iPhone, webapps aren't all that bad. RSS, blogging, chat, can all be done (and fairly well) through webapps. Hell, there is plenty you can achieve through some well developed webapps. The real problem lies in getting the webapp to mimic the native apps of the iPhone. Sometimes, this can be accomplished for certain tasks, but not all. Its too bad really, as much as I love ...

Public The Xbox 360 in my opinion, is amazing. Its got the strong library, the best online offering of any of the home consoles, and some of the best media capabilities. iPTV supposedly coming and Divx streaming is already here. (Dont forget the rumored DVR capability)
What astounds me though, is the fact that Microsoft has YET to make an Xbox with built in Wi-Fi. How is this possible? Mind you ...
