!downbylaw i believe so... but it's not picking up disabled accounts - someone can still have a lot of friends/fans on pownce even if they only use it once a month - everyone's use is different.
@ Andie- Great, I think that's what people would really like to know. Also, why just the top 100? I'm sure everyone would want to know where they fall on the list.
!wrushj - you can see all users (who's on the site) by clicking View All Users or for your convenience http://powncewar.com/f... The top 100 is to keep server load down :)
And to everybody this isn't instant else the server would have a fit - it's updated once or twice a day :)
@ Andie- If you can make a list of the most active users make sure its by most frequent posts and replies and not total posts and replies. Maybe you could take a sample of the last week and make it a weekly updated thing?
No it didnt server load is fine now :) Thanks for this post btw helps both myself and andie, also hopefully its something people can work towards buiding their way up :)
!ariel thanks for the amazing post, it was really unexpected but actually made my day. I've only spent a couple of hours on this site and it really showcases just how easy the Pownce API is to get on with.
Nice job !boldfire. I"m #139. As long as we don't let it negatively affect our Powncing (as karma can with Plurk) I think it's interesting stuff. I'd have never have guessed I was so high. I knew my list had grown a lot, but I thought there were far more people with larger lists.
!cool I really hate that, it made me leave Plurk. So no, but if you do not post in 30 days you will not be elegible to be listed in the top 100 as you are classed as inactive (not quite yet, still working on that feature) - but it's just to get rid of people who are famous but add nothing to Pownce, it's hardly fair on good posters otherwise :)
No worries here then. Aside from taking an occasional "social media vacation day" (when I read books instead of surfing the net) the only time I miss a day on Pownce is if I'm on holiday.
!boldfire interesting implementation of the 'most recently active' on the list, but I admittedly would like a way to toggle this on and off. e.g. I'd like to see the all-time top 100 (like before) and maybe just have a tab for the active/top 100 for those who want to see that as well. Most active can get annoying if people are spamming/gaming the system or just sending their tweets to Pownce IMHO.
