Public I've played around with ABC's iView service, and I'm very impressed. You really need a connection of at least 2-3Mbps, otherwise as soon as you do anything the video will start to stutter and get choppy (they reccommend min. 1.1Mbps).
It's pretty decent quality for full, streaming video - most 28min. shows are ~150MB. I've read that it's region-locked like the BBC's iPlayer ...

Public The main thing I hate about Twitter - it doesn't link replies to the proper tweet, only the most recent one. Therefore, if you reply after they tweet again, you (and others) can't click through and follow the conversation properly.
The only way I can see Twitter fixing this by still keeping the current framework is by bringing in tagging. If they did this, you could follow the coversation ...

Public Australian Broadcasting Corportion's new IPTV service, similar to the BBC's.
Very excited - 3/4 free-to-air shows I watch are on the ABC, and I can now finally stream them at high quality. Now all I need to do is upgrade my net connection.
I'll test it out at work, see how high the quality is. I really do hope they have (or will have) high quality 720p ...

Public I've made my decision - I'm waiting at least a month before I'll get my iPhone.
There are more pressing concerns, such as getting my own laptop (hopefully the next iteration of the HP mini-note) and upgrading my internet connection.
I'm looking at going with these guys and getting the $60/mo. NonPhoneB plan. That gives me about 72GB of data per month, pretty damn good deal ...
