It's a day of giving up things for me and thus bringing you today's QOTD:

QUESTION OF THE DAY: What do you want to give up? [Use any reasoning you like]

I'm giving up drinking coffee at work. Why? Well, it's such horrible swill that I can't drink it without 1) lots of creamer and sugar or 2) copious amounts of French vanilla coffee creamer. In the interests of reducing the amount of chemicals/extraneous calories out of my diet, eliminating the coffee at work was a no-brainer. I only drank one cup a day here anyway - I switched to green tea after the first cup. Now, I'm just drinking green tea.

If I make the coffee myself, I can drink it black. So it's not gone for good!

What about you?

There is nothing really I want to give up or even need to.

My diet is pared down already.
    I don't drink alcohol.
I don't smoke anything other than food.
    Don't do drugs.
    Am eco-friendly.
Limit or simply do without items from nations that endanger their people.

There's nothing left that I can do without.

Hmmm I had given up Diet Coke, but it's crept back into my life. Caffeine is trouble no matter how you cut it, luckily I'm not drinking coffee again (well decaf on special occasions).

I've given up on light products like Diet Coke. I rather drink less Coke than artificial sweeteners.

I'm a hard core caffeine addict. Every couple of months I'm able to kick the habit, but in a month or two I'm right back to drinking cokes or coffee at breakfast.

I'm soooo glad I never did any hard drugs. I'd be the worlds worst crack fiend.

I would love to give up working. :p
Sadly I can't as I need to money.

In all seriousness, I don't know anything I want to give up as of now. All in moderation. :)

I don't think there's anything I want to completely give up. Things like coffee, alchohol, the internet, video games, junk food etc aren't necessarily bad, they're just bad if you let them control you.

That said, I could definitely cut down on my internet usage... but it's easier said than done.

I want to give up getting meals and returning to my desk to have lunch. I need to spend more time outside the office, have 1+ hour lunches and such.

I would love to give up Soda (pop for you in western ny)... I did once for a while and I lost a bunch of weight, but its so hard when it's the only beverage option most places. I have turned to the sugar free energy drinks but even those, I worry about the chemical intake. Damn you Coke and Pepse for making your products everywhere!!!!!
