!artifishall wants to know about my first concert.

Since I don't think seeing Austin Healy at the Faribault County Fair counts as my "first concert", I'll use the first one I *wanted* to go to.

April 17, 1992: Van Halen on their "For Unlawful Carnal Knowledge" tour in Minneapolis.

The funny thing about this being my first concert is that I'm a much bigger David Lee Roth's Van Halen fan than VanHagar fan.

    I am so glad it wasn't my Macalester College bagpipe band playing on a march through Faribault for one of Shattuck-St. Mary's anniversary celebrations back in 1986.

    don't worry I wasn't counting the Manheim Steamroller concert I went when I was 3.

    I liked Roth better too, maybe it was just the goofy antics.
