I don't think Pownce is making any money yet but there is a lot of potential.

I doubt they're making any profit yet but for a side project of his it certainly has gotten a lot of attention (from investors specifically).

From what I understand Digg loses money, and I doubt this makes any yet. Same model for both really, ads.

I think if they can make the Pro Account features more substantial people would be more inclined to upgrade.

Yeah 4 sure, The ads don't get in the way AT ALL and who sends anything bigger than the average music file anyway? If they had more stuff, like better customization for pro customers, I'd pay 4 it.

I'm wondering how they ever will, the back-end must be crazy... specifically dealing with uploading files and doling them out as direct downloads or on a streamer. Tons more bandwith strain that Digg's ever had to deal with I think.
