Went to watch Cloverfield the other day.

It was pretty good in the beginning. I especially love the camcorder view. But then halfway into the movie, i developed a slight headache and got a bit nauseous because of all the jerky motions of the camcorder. It's not just me, both of my friends felt the same way as well, and i notice a few people got up from their seats and didn't return.

And i kinda got bored of them running all the time. The monster's spawn didn't appear often enough IMHO.

And the lack of explanation of the existence and appearance of the monster? So Lost.

Two of my three friends that saw it had the motion sickness too. I haven't seen it yet, maybe tonight.

A lot of people had that problem with the Blair Witch Project as well. I get nauseous at IMAX movies, so it sounds like I would with this too. (So I'll skip it.)

Otherwise I've heard really mixed reviews. People seem to love it or hate it.

@Trik: Hope you'll do better than me and my friends :)

@Heidi: Despite the mixed reviews, i heard the movie is doing pretty well in the box offices. That's what matters most to the producers, i guess.
