Posted a comment on the blog...I'm sure that you remember MacBreak video pre-rolls...something like that would be OK.

Commented. I don't really mind them as long as it's not a 30 second pre-roll.

Do as needed as long as its not following the 'old' formula. Its up to you to take a stand to accept ads that are from good companies that need to get the word out, instead of taking the money and promoting the propaganda. You don't have the time constraints of broadcast tv, so no need for a set time of commercial, whatever it takes to send the message.

Agreed. Short and relevant to the audience == acceptable and perhaps even helpful.

Advertising is lame, not just pre-rolls, but the concept itself.
