My friend works at the library and was paid to play wii with the elderly community that goes to the library often. I know that this isn't what you were looking for but just thought I'd share

    Hi Cali

You could try Megan Berru on Facebook at http://www.facebook.co...

    or via her blog at
    http://mberru.blogspot...

She young, funny, and not bad to look at, wish my local librarians where this cute, anyway, she is currently interning at the Irwindale Public Library, a really cool photograher and has been blogging for 7 years.

Not sure if she is what you are looking for, but she may be worth dropping an email too. I have sent her a link to this post.

    All the Best, L&L

I work in the public information office for the City of San Angelo TX, and this past week i have been thinking about setting up a pownce/twitter presence to help keep citizens as up-to-date as possible, especially with all the national news coverage we've been getting lately. I am currently the asst. PIO at the city and my primary function is the Production Manager for our citys gov. access TV channel. I know im not a "librarian" like you mentioned, but i think its the same idea. Our citys web site is http://www.sanangelote... and when i set up the accounts, i'll be sure to post them! BTW, you have at least a couple fans that work for this city!

Hey Cali, I'm not a librarian, but I work very closely with a lot of them. I work in the IT dept of a library, and I think our IT librarian may be someone you would want to contact. Let me know and I'll send you her info via email or something.

Hey Cali my boss use to be the head of libraries at the New Jersey Institute of Technology and now runs the University Web Services department. I just encoded his presentation about how libraries can incorporate Library Thing, Delicious, Flikr, and other web services to automatically populate their website homepages.

Don't know if that is what your looking for or not, shoot me a message if you want me to try and get the presentation to you. I have it as a 165 MB Quicktime and am encoding it to Flash as we speak ...
