Looks like Facebook publishes to your friends feed regardless if you want them to or not. I "hid" a bunch of stuff I didn't want everyone reading about, only to find that it was broadcast to everyone.

    The ultimate irony is that you could join this facebook groups against broadcasting facebook feed info:

    http://www.facebook.com/g...

    And expect that everyone will receive it in their feed whether you like it or not!

    well, if you adjust your privacy settings you can hide what you want.

    The ability is there, you just have to set it.

    no you can't set the feed not to show "join groups" only "leave groups"

    Why would you want to hide belonging to a group on a social network anyway? You know "social" network??
