OK... I just got back from the T Magazine(The New York Times Style Magazine) event. Did anyone else go? WOW, it was incredible... Stephano Tonchi is a genius. They have such an amazing team. Their use of typography is completely stunning. The photographers they work with are stellar and completely avant garde... so inspiring!

For all you graphics people I highly recommend checking out the T Magazine in this Sundays New York Times... the typography alone is well worth it, but also ever issue has great articles on emerging designers around the world.

For all you web heads the magazine is launching a website in December... I saw a preview of it tonight- very original and incredibly stylish, but still providing information in a dynamic way. I will keep you posted as to the exact launch date.

    Sweet, keep us posted, sounds awesome!

    I just bought a copy of 'Desktop', an Australian Digital Arts and Culture magazine. And it just so happens in this issue it has help and tips about education and employment.

    I've been in contact with a few designers, one from Sydney and Daniel Burka who designed this site and Digg.com, they've both been really helpful.

    Hi Ash, I will definitely keep you posted about the launch- I think you will really enjoy the site.

    I have heard about Desktop... they just did an article on the Rose Bowl in Pasadena with some awesome images. Very cool mag. Sounds like a great issue... I will have to pick it up.

    Glad to hear you are absorbing more and more of the design world... I hope you are still working on your T designs... I really enjoyed them.

    Currently I am still at my FT job- working on new holiday graphics for our Betsey Johnson intimates line and a complete renovation of our showroom. Freelance I am finishing up a website for an upholstery company(I will send you the link when it launches) and I just got a new gig designing CD artwork for a few compilation CDs. I will let you know how it progresses.
