I don't get the new "Family Day" holiday off this Monday. It's an Ontario Stat Holiday but since I work for the Canadian Government I don't get Ontario Holidays. Sigh... Oh well at least it's Friday.

Sounds like an excuse for Canadians to get a day off. Monday down here is President's Day. Of course, the main reason in the states that this holiday is around is for stores to have a sale.

It actually was an excuse. The liberals promised it if they got voted in and they did. Calgary has had family day for some time now.
