just accidently stumbled by the albright-knox gallery today which happened to be the opening day for the epic show "beyond - in western new york." the show is showcasing local artists on exhibit now spanning accross 12 galleries in buffalo, ny. so far, im very much appreciating the idea of this massive show and the work even more so. so far the champs from the knox leg are kathryn rupert-dazai, with her quirky, comfy-cozy woven paintings and simone mantellassi with his illustration installation that engulfs an entire room at the museum. im excited to see the rest of this mammoth exhibition. http://www.beyondinwny...
