matthew barney: no restraint was an amazing documentary on the latest film work drawing restraint 9. the documentary did an excellent job of giving insight into the conceptual underpinnings and physical process involved in his monumentous projects - all while maintaining a sense of raw candid humanity that contrasts the otherwise heavily aesthetisized and criptic narratives. high recommends
