Just thinking today about how much I miss Spymac. Anybody else used to go there? It was this great mac user forum site that offered webpages and email at a kickass sounding domain name. Not only that, but it was a great community that was extremely helpful with any problem you had. After it mysteriously went down and came back as Spymac 4, things became a little sketchy. I actually was banned and somehow was not let back onto the site for 6 months (was intended to be a week long ban). When I came back, it was too late though. Spymac "V" was up and running. Sad sad day in Spymac history. Around the time Spymac 4 came out, many moderators were beginning to see that things weren't the same and with V, they realized it was done. Spymac, as it stands today, is a YouTube-esque site with NO CURRENT FORUM (the old forum is active but buggy and not kept up nor does it suit the new theme of the site). This forum is what started the site and it has completely been taken off the main site. Now they have this whole "earn money for uploads" shit and I was thinking today of how much I just really miss the old Spymac. If you care to take a look at what it used to be, you can take a look at Spymac 4 at least (which is basically spymac 3 glossy and worse) at http://classic.spymac.... If anyone else here has been on Spymac before, I'd love to hear your take on it.
