Public I came across this piece of article "In Web 2.0: Facebook, MySpace... Microsoft?", it talks about how Microsoft is looking into advertising as much as the new Web 2.0 companies. Not surprisingly, in the Remix 2007 Singapore, the MSN Ads people showed a demo of Microsoft's vision of advertising for a frictional product.

Public I agree with what is being discussed here: Pownce is not in direct competition with Twitter, which is to me a mass messaging tool, but it is finding its way in a real collaborative environment where people generally wants to share information. Reading from the sponsor's information like Pbwiki, correlate.us, I can see where is the fundamental point of view of this article
