I'm in the market for a compact digital camera. If you have a recommendation please let me know. I wish I could afford an SLR, but that's not the case.

I'm looking for something really compact with at least 5MP. Thanks!

    I can't help you with a specific recommendation, but I've had great luck with my Sony Cybershot over the last two years. It has 5 MP, and the movie quality is decent enough we don't even use our DV Camera anymore.

    As much as I loathe the company, you can't really go wrong with Sony camera's.

    I had a cyberhot for two years and wasnt to pleased with it when it came to taking pictures at night, especially when you have been out and drinking!!! Now I have a Canon Power Shot sd30 and i love it even when Im taking drunkin pictures in the streets late at night leaving the bars!

    I really like the quality of the GE A730. It is also light and compact

    I have the Sony DSC-W55 and dad now owns a DSC-W80 (yeah I know, he got a camera!) I like it a lot. The Canon ones are good too.
