1. Company move
We got a new apartment in the complex. Moving day is July 26th. This means that the podcast to be released on July 28th must be cancelled. There are five of us crammed into a two bedroom apartment. Moving up to the three bedroom may result in my having my own quarters rather than the pseudo dining room that was converted into my "ready room". Having the refrigerator so close to my living space is not that good of a thing for me.
2. Work
Work sucks. This happens. Fecal matter may hit the air movement device Friday with the way things are going.
3. Greenstone Project
The Greenstone project remains on hold. I need to get over to Fry's to procure a low-end video card, a power supply, and a NIC to throw into the chassis that has been set aside. I will be setting up on the in-house network, which has 5 CPUs functioning already, a server that will run Greenstone and apparently also Koha. Hmm, all this Kiwi software...what might it mean?
We did get our MARC Organizational Code which means I can produce records from the eventual project. The code is: NvLvELP. Such is important to have when making catalog records when you are not a member of OCLC. Such can be used as a bit of a stand-in within the 040 tag showing who touched a record. Since this is a freestanding creation this is the way such must happen. I might not have been paid to catalog for a while but I have not forgotten everything.
4. Dating & Relationships
I wish there were an update under this heading. I wish there was.
5. Podcasts this week
I will be guest hosting the GWC After Frak Party upon the request of the regular host. I have no clue what will be on LISTen. I have a number of interview requests floating around in never-never land that are not being acted upon seemingly.
