I finally got a refund from the extremely difficult Amazon Marketplace seller yesterday. Went out and bought a new AC adapter from Best Buy. I've learned that, sometimes, the extra hassle just is not worth saving a few bucks.

    I had this same thing happen to me when I was trying to buy a charger for a PC laptop. I wanted to save $7.35, when the 3 week hassle ruined it all!
