Public I should have known it wasn’t going to go smoothly. I come home and my 7 year old daughter came up to me and in a most serious voice told me “Aliens are real” and continued on with their various physical attributes and what they eat; with that she left, but that was not the end of it.

Public Is it just me, or did everyone's 'friends' disappear? They still show in the 'send to' drop down, but not on the left side. I go to other peoples pages and they are there, I get the pownces from them, their pictures just don't show up. More behind the scene changes?

Public I've got a week long class for my MBA degree to get ready for. It is called great books. We, not surprisingly, read selections of the great books. Having an engineering background I thought it would be a good way to round out my education. Of course I didn't read all the selections ahead of time like they suggest, but got through most of them. Public A bit shaken up about the bridge collapse here in Minnesota. I was out bowling with my daughter when I caught it on the news. It is amazing that more people weren't killed; some of the stories of falling the 60 feet and walking away without much more than a scratch are just amazing.
I'm sure I'll remember that moment when I first heard about it similarly ...
