Huge blessing just fell into my lap.

I called to pay half of a giant (to me - $565 is a lot of money) medical bill that my insurance refused to pay. I was going to pay the other half in a couple of weeks, when I get paid again. She said, "Okay, so your balance is $306."
Me: "The bill in front of me says $565. I can pay half of that today."
Her: "It shows on the 22nd, we got one payment for $118, and the other for $112."
Me: *silence*
Her: "So your balance is $306."
Me: "....Really?"
Her: "Yes."
Me: ".....Uh, can I pay that today?!"

I'm more than willing to wash my hands of a bill that I was expecting to pay more for.

    PS: I have no idea who sent the two checks for the rest of the bill. My mother and sister have no idea, either. All I know is there is $260 of it paid off (I think I did the math wrong on one of those numbers above - the $118 is right) that I didn't have to pay.
