Well so far my personal opinion on the difference between Twitter & Pownce...

I like the Pownce interface better on their website. And I like the ease of sharing files/pics/songs/links, etc. Plus I also like that your posts can be longer if need be. But I like the SMS capabilities on Twitter. Plus on Twitter it seems like a more close nit family. If I post on Twitter I'll get all kinds of responses. There's a lot more interaction. But on Pownce I can post & NEVER hear any kind of reply. I don't feel the same camaraderie on Pownce that I feel on Twitter.

    I guess you just need a gigantic amount of friends on here to feel the camaraderie.

    funny. I feel much more isolated on twitter than here, but then again I have very few friends on twitter. I much prefer this site though. Primarily because I am content hungry and very wordy

    My brother uses Twitter, he has Pownce but doesn't use it, and I've found a lot of people on Twitter thru him, so I have quite a few people on Twitter compared to Pownce.

    I only have like 12 followers on Twitter, so I feel my posts there go out into the ether, where as I on Pownce I feel like they are being read. Plus I can be kind of wordy, so I like having the unlimited character count.

    But, Twitter is posted to more freqently in general so I pick up lots of quick bites of info.
