Today, I feel closer to death than birth. I walk around the airports and I see more younger than me than older. Not much more, not even close to a significant majority. But I feel it, and it is real. I am middle aged.

Don't sweat it too much, there will always be younger people. Dreading turning 30 next year but not much I can do (other than cryogenics)!

Actually I don't care either way.

When I was young I lived in a retired community. There were very few children ever on my street or for four to five streets in any direction.

So age never bothered me. The older I become the better my life is.

I agree with Mister Cursor_. I happier and more content today than at any previous age.

Some would argue you're closer to death than birth the moment you're born, since time doesn't travel backward. I guess that's not too optimistic, either. But I think people understand.

Mr. Cursor and Tad: I also agree. Age has brought wisdom. but definitely a bubble popping moment.

I am with my Mom, who has not seen me in 2 years. She said the same thing, that the age is now wearing on me. One book and a starrt-up will do that I guess.

We need to get you to the gym, my man. It will help keep you young.
    Best,
    Rich
